CONCEPT

Taken by this time of year in the warmth of California with an abundant farmers market, we wanted to create a menu that captured the moment and the nourishing, effeminate nature of the lunch. We plated on a gorgeous collection of Estudio Vernis plates, platters and bowls alongside khaki Sabre silverware. Set against gorgeous Bed Threads mustard linens, the afternoon was bright and cheerful. Guests enjoyed a starter Cucumber Ribbon and Snap Pea Salad with Creamy Egg before passing family style platters of Turmeric Garlic Rice, Fish Red Curry and Matcha Noodles in Miso Shallot Sauce. Dessert was served in pretty glassware from LOQ, each glass filled with layers of sponge, berries and cream.
